Tuesday evening ends at:

Around 10-11 PM, but sometimes as early as 8 PM after putting the kids to bed.

Before turning out the lights, you always:

I stroke my children’s soft cheeks.

Who/what are sharing your bed:

My husband and our two kids. We upgraded to a 210 cm dream bed from Mille Notti when we moved into our house. We’ve been moving around a lot lately, and we’ve found that we all sleep best when we’re together. I wish I could freeze time at that moment when we all fall asleep together. Nothing makes me feel more grounded and secure than when we’re all snuggled up.

Normally you sleep in:

A big t-shirt, but I’m leaning towards proper pajamas soon because I’ve noticed it’s getting colder in the house.

The last dream you remember:

A recurring dream where I show up on set completely unprepared—without any thoughts, plans, or props/clothes to style with. Stress!

On your night stand we will probably find:

A lot of books that I will read, room spray from ‘En Doft,’ the jewelry I usually wear, and various skincare products.

Your best tip for a good night sleep would be:

No scrolling and freshly made beds with crisp, clean sheets. Extra fluffy duvets and a lot of pillows.

Your evening beauty routine includes:

This is an extremely important time for me, and I wish I had more time and motivation to pamper my skin more often. So, it’s not always very elaborate; mostly, I follow this routine: cleansing my face with an oil cleanser from Madara, then using acid pads from Excuviance, eye serum from Verso, moisturizing serum from Mantle or niacinamide serum from Maggie by Kakan, and a night mask from Mantle or Verso. I love skincare and often switch between many different brands. But now in the fall, this routine works well. I add oil to my face as it gets colder. I have a jar of balm from Gryningen, which they make themselves, that I’m addicted to and can’t sleep without applying to my lips.

I wish I could freeze time at that moment when we all fall asleep together.

This keeps you sleepless at night:

I’m lucky to usually sleep like a log!

Instead of counting sheep you:

I lie on an acupressure mat.

The best thing about your bedroom :

The wall color, Little Green Masquerade Light, creates harmony. And the enormous bed is placed in front of our bedroom window, so we can follow all the seasons: how the cherry tree outside blooms beautifully, the color of the leaves, and soon a winter wonderland.

Your best midnight snack:

It entirely depends on my energy and mood, but sometimes spicy cheese puffs, chocolate ice cream, cheese sandwiches, or tea with honey.

Tuesday morning starts at:

 Just before 7 AM.

Your alarm sounds like:

I never set an alarm; our kids usually wake us up wanting breakfast.

The first thing you see when you open your eyes are:

Two tousled, sleepy kids and, on the other side, a big man.

Your morning mood could be described as:

Always awful; it takes me hours to really get going. My greatest wish is to be a morning person.

A normal breakfast would be like:

Since I’m so slow, the last thing I can do is eat. But I whip up a matcha; I know it sounds a bit pretentious, but I can’t drink coffee first because it makes me too jittery. Then I eat yogurt or chia pudding with granola about an hour after drinking the matcha.

Your birthday breakfast should be like:

Pancakes, lots of fruit, croissants, nice bread, and fresh juice. Everything should be available! It calms my fragile state that, for some reason, always arises on my day.

Your morning beauty routine includes:

I don’t wash my face, but I do swipe a pad with tonic from Madara, followed by a moisturizing essence from Emma.S that I love, then Verso SPF, and a bit of concealing makeup from RMS Beauty. I use eyebrow gel from Rapide and just brush through my hair; it’s simple with a bob.

A dreamy weekend morning could be like:

We do the same thing every weekend, trying not to have plans and enjoying pancakes while lounging just the four of us until lunch. Then something has to happen, but Saturday mornings are sacred. We aim for as little as possible.

My dos and don’ts when making the bed:

Don’t make it too perfect—just pretty duvet covers and a throw to be casually tossed on top. Lots of pillows is a must!

Also, we are so inspired by your sense of style and just have to ask: How will you set your table for Christmas this year?

How will you set your table for Christmas this year? With napkins in pink/red gingham from Midnatt, obviously. Large white plates, pine branches from the garden, and I’m looking for a nice wrought iron crown to hang from the ceiling. I’ve always dreamed of that, and now it feels very suitable in this house.

And how will you dress yourself for Christmas and New Year’s Eve?

For Christmas, I think I’ll go for beige, slinky silk pieces paired with my burgundy strappy sandals from Sania d’mina. For New Year’s, lace tights, patent shoes, a short skirt, and big rhinestone earrings.
